Life can be really challenging and we all need help from time to time. I care deeply about every individual's trials and challenges. I want to help you work through whatever barriers have entered your path and help to foster continued personal growth on your life journey. I don't believe anybody should have to face their challenges alone. I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment while meeting you where you are currently at with your needs and in your life.

I'm a dually licensed mental health and alcohol/drug counselor. I work with adults to address concerns such as: chemical dependency/DUI evaluations, addictions, self-esteem, relationships, communication skill building, depression, anxiety and transitional or adjustment issues. My primary theoretical orientations are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy, however, I utilize tools from a variety of theories to best meet your needs.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about human connection. A support system is invaluable and, in my work, I strive to help people make connection a priority in their own lives. I utilize that passion to make connections with individuals I work with and also with people in my personal life. I’m not a fan of small talk. I want to really know the people I interact with on a deeper level.

Favorite Quotes

“In these days of difficulty, we Americans everywhere must and shall choose the path of social justice…the path of faith, the path of hope, and the path of love toward our fellow man.”
-President Franklin D. Roosevelt

“For what it’s worth: It’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over.”
-F. Scott Fitzgerald
Favorite food?
Give me all the carbs and starches! A deep love for potatoes is a Dross family trait through the generations. An equal favorite would be my Grandma’s pancakes. There are many reasons I love them. They are thin, crunchy on the edges and totally amazing. Pancakes at grandma’s also remind me of being a kid and of sharing breakfast with my late grandpa. They bring up a lot of nostalgia for me and family is an ultimate priority in my life.
